The wireless in my hotel wouldn’t work with my Vista laptop. They told me I had to get a wireless bridge from the front desk, except the front desk was all out of them - aaarrrgh!
I ran out of patience, so I drove over to Fry’s Electronics to pick one up. This was my first time in a Fry’s, and I really want one in Dayton. It was Best Buy and Office Depot combined, 4 times the size with really cheap prices. I was in heaven.
It may seem like that at first glance, but believe me, you do not want a Fry’s. They have terrible customer service and their return policy is awful. The worst part is this. They take returns from people, put new shrink wrap on the package and resell the products. Usually a return is because something is defective. Although I have several Fry’s stores near me, I would not go to them on a dare. I either buy online or at a place like Staples.
The 2 minutes I spent with an employee were pleasant, and I was really impressed by the selection and prices of their stuff. I have to return one of the things I bought, though, so maybe I’ll see the dark side of Fry’s tomorrow.
